Head over to your Dashboard and click on the Articles Icon to get started with writing and publishing articles for your site. In the Articles App, you'll find three sections: Articles, Categories, and Feeds.
The Articles page allows you to write and publish new articles and view and sort your articles by published/other status, category, and by date/ordering. When you hover over an article, the Edit, View, and Delete options will appear.
Click on the New Article button located on the top right corner of the Articles page. Here, fill out the title, introductory text, and then your article content.
On the right side, you'll find a panel. Click on the blue button at the top to Publish Now, Save as Draft, or Schedule the Article. The panel features the following subsections: Featured, Basic, Images, Sharing & Comments, and SEO.
Featured - You have the option to feature your article. Enable the Featured button for each article on the Editor, set tags for your related articles, and go the Single Article page and add the Related Articles element from your Left Panel into your design area. Select your favorite article for your page and click Publish.
Basic - Schedule a date and time that the article will go live. You can also create and/or select a category for your article or leave it as uncategorized. You can also credit the author or leave it as Unknown and add any tags. Tags are great to emphasize the article's key points.
Images - Select the Browse Files or Open Media option to select your main and social images. You can also upload your own images or browse Unsplash's free stock image collection.
Sharing & Comments - Enable sharing by clicking on the button. To enable comments, enter your Disqus name and click Connect Disqus.
New Article - To add a new article, just pick the Article Element from the Elements section on the Left Panel and drop it to the desired area.
SEO - Add the alias and description here.
When you create an article, it will automatically be saved as Uncategorized. You can create and add your own categories and assign them to your articles. Create an alias, write a short description and include a social image.
You can add Article Feeds from different public news feeds by creating a new field and entering your Feed URL. The RSS feeds are located on the news websites.
- Click the Fetch button to download the data.
- Head back to Articles and then the Draft section and select the one you want to publish.
- Hit the Publish button to push your Article to the Published section.
- Make sure to Save once you're done.
If you run a multilingual blog and have already added another language to your site, you'll notice the Language Switcher in the upper left corner. Use it to alternate between languages and translate your content.
